Location. Housed in the 1929 Carbide & Carbon Building, the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago is positioned in the Chicago (Ill.) Loop business and theatre districts on Michigan Avenue across from Millennium Park. Chicago Theatre and Grant Park are one block from the hotel and the Wrigley Building is three blocks away. The Art Institute of Chicago is five blocks from the property and Navy Pier is within one-quarter mile.
