Location.The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is a self- contained 1,500-acre resort in the Lake Buena Vista area, just six miles from the Orange County Convention Center and adjacent to Epcot and the Walt Disney World Resort. Complimentary shuttles services are offered to nearby theme parks. Other nearby attractions include SeaWorld Orlando and Discovery Cove, located within 10 miles of the property.

Hotel Features. The resort offers six restaurants, three lounges and one coffee shop. Dining choices include seafood at Hemingway's, which displays sepia photographs of the famous Florida resident and his fishing trophies. The Black Swan offers an intimate setting with elegant décor while On the Rocks provides a casual, poolside lunch. A 24-hour business center offers secretarial support services, office supplies and business equipment rental. High- speed and wireless Internet access is provided in the 65,000 square feet of meeting space. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress features a private lake, four Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses, miles of tropical nature trails for bicycling and jogging, sandy beaches, canoeing and sailing. A swimming area provides a half-acre lagoon-style pool with waterfalls, grottos and children's pool. The hotel has a racquet club with 12 private courts, Equestrian Center, full service salon and spa and a fully equipped fitness center including a sauna, a steam room and lockers.

Guestrooms. With small French balconies, the Hyatt's 750 guestrooms are topped with ceiling fans and decorated with tones of rose and sea-green. Rattan and blonde wood furnishings offset baths designed by Portico. The Regency Club includes an exclusive floor with concierge service and a private lounge offering breakfast, evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. High-speed and wireless Internet access is available along with daily newspapers.

Expert Tip. Camp Hyatt, for kids ages 5-12, offers water and beach activities plus fun like decorating cookies, watching movies and exploring the paths around the resort.
