Location. The Colony Hotel is located in Rome, Italy, two kilometres from the Olympic Stadium. The Via del Corso, with its fashionable boutiques, is seven kilometres away, and it is eight kilometres from the Coliseum.
Hotel Features. The Colony Hotel is a modern seven-storey building with a classically inspired interior. The hotel has a fully equipped fitness room and complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist with sightseeing tours and arrange airport transport for a surcharge. There is a secure parking garage for guests arriving by car.
Complimentary breakfast is served daily in the hotel's breakfast room and also in the tiled walled garden during spring and summer. The bar is open 24 hours.

Expert Tip. Football teams S.S. Lazio and A.S. Roma are based at the Olympic Stadium, two kilometres from the hotel. The Foro Italico complex in which they are situated is home to a number of other major sporting venues such as the marble stadium, so- called because of the enormous marble statues of classical athletes.

From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Distance to the Colony Hotel is 40 kilometres, approximately 35 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. Taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and a metro system. Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.
