Distance to Pension Potsdamer Platz is 10 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The airport is connected to Berlin city centre by S-Bahn and regional trains. The station is about 400 metres from the terminal, and a free shuttle operates every 10 minutes. If travellers don't have much luggage, walking is the quickest option. Trains depart for central Berlin every 30 minutes, and cost 2.60 EUR for a single ticket. BVG buses frequently depart for the city centre from outside the Arrivals building. Taxis are available and cost about 35 EUR to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The best way to get around Berlin is to use its public transport system (BVG). Travel on buses, trains, ferries and trams, as well as all U-Bahn (underground) and S-Bahn (over- ground) services, is covered by one ticket.
