Location. The turn-of-the-century Hotel Adlon Kempinski is opposite the Brandenburg Gate on Unter den Linden boulevard in central Berlin, Germany. The hotel is one kilometre from Potsdamer Platz square, the Berlin Philharmonic and the cultural treasures of the Museum Island. Berlin-Tegel Airport (TXL) is nine kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The 1907-built Hotel Adlon Kempinski was destroyed in World War II and restored to its former glory in 1997. Dominated by a stained-glass dome, the marble lobby boasts an ornate fountain, velvet armchairs and gold flourishes.
Facing the Pariser Platz and Brandenburg Gate, the light-filled Restaurant Quarre offers international flavours for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fine French cuisine at Gourmet Restaurant Lorenz Adlon includes signature dishes like Coq au Vin and Chateaubriand Steak. Centred around an open kitchen, the Adlon Stube serves Berlin pub fare. The Lobby Lounge and Bar serves coffee and cocktails accompanied by live piano music.
The hotel hosts events for up to 500 people and has 13 conference rooms and two ballrooms. Wireless Internet access is available.

Distance to the Hotel Adlon Kempinski is nine kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available in front of the terminal's lower level and cost about 15 EUR. The number 109 airbus runs to Zoologischer Garten station, which is on the U-Bahn (underground system). The X9 is an express airport shuttle, connecting to central Berlin, the main train station, and the Zoologischer Garten U-Bahn station. All buses leave from the upper level. Tickets should be validated prior to boarding. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Situated next to the Brandenburg Gate, the Hotel Adlon Kempinski is one kilometre from the Potsdamer Platz. The best way to get around Berlin is to use its public transport system (BVG). Travel on buses, trains, ferries and trams, as well as all U-Bahn (underground) and S-Bahn (over-ground) services, is covered by one ticket. Secure parking is available at the hotel (surcharge).
