The Hotel Belmont is a modern white-fronted building in the Espace Nord district, Brussels' business area, 400 metres from the Gare du Nord where Eurostar trains arrive and depart. The 31 rooms are decorated in simple modern style, with birchwood furniture and soft furnishings in whites and light blues. The railway station can be found on the basement level, below the terminal building. Airport City Express trains to the city depart approximately every 10-30 minutes to Brussels' three main stations. Guests should take the train to the Gare du Nord. Metered taxis are available outside the arrivals hall; licensed cabs have a yellow and blue emblem. At typical taxi fee is 35 EUR. De Lijn buses run also every 45 minutes to the city.
A fast, cheap way to get around Brussels is on the extensive tram system, or via the efficient metro service.
